Honor Pad 9 5G, Honor X7b 5G, Honor MagicBook X 16 and Honor Band 9 launches in Malaysia

Honor Malaysia has officially launched four new devices in conjunction with the Hari Raya festive season, this includes the Honor Pad 9 5G, Honor X7b 5G, Honor MagicBook X 16 and Honor Band 9, they will be available for purchase starting 25th April 2024 onwards.

Honor Pad 9

As the name already suggests, the Honor Pad 9 5G is a 5G-enabled tablet that has the exact same hardware internals as the WiFi model, which was launched last month in conjunction with the Honor Magic6 Pro.

The tablet features a 12.1-inch 2.5K 120Hz display that supports 4096 level of pressure sensitivity, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage, though interestingly the latter can be expanded over a MicroSD card that isn’t available on the WiFi model.

The Honor Pad 9 5G has an 8-speaker sound system that delivers 360-degree audio enhanced by Honor Histen sound tuning. An 8300mAh battery powers the tablet delivering all-day computing, while users are offered a Smart Bluetooth Keyboard case and an Honor Choice Pencil for maximizing their productivity.

The Honor Pad 9 5G retails for RM1,799 in Malaysia.

Honor X7b 5G

Sporting a large 6.8-inch FHD+ IPS display with 90Hz refresh rate, the Honor X7b 5G offers exceptional value as a budget 5G device, the phone features a premium design with unique color options of Flowing Silver and Emerald Green, a Mediatek Dimensity 6020 processor paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

The phone has a massive 6000mAh battery to power a heavy work day, while users are treated to high quality photos with the 108MP main camera that excels in low light portraits, dual-stereo speakers with an audio boost feature ensures that you are well entertained with the big screen.

The Honor X7b 5G retails for RM899, making it one of the most affordable 5G phones in the market.

Honor MagicBook X 16

A minor specs refresh to the previous model, the new Honor MagicBook X 16 is now powered by an Intel Core i5 12450H processor that boasts significantly better performance and power efficiency, the laptop shares a similar design as well with a 16-inch 1920×1200 display, a large full-size keyboard with numpad, a 42Wh battery that delivers up to 7 hours of continous usage.

The 2024 Honor MagicBook X 16 comes with 8GB RAM and 512GB of storage, it retails for RM2,999 and comes with free gifts worth RM468, including an Honor Backpack, 1-year free Microsoft 365 subscription and 3-year warranty.

Honor Band 9

The Honor Band 9 is a simple and fashionable fitness tracker that costs RM199, it comes in three colors of Purple, Black and Blue with matching straps.

Sporting a 1.57-inch AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate, the Honor Band 9 ensures a buttery smooth UI when users navigate around the watch, it tracks over 96 types of sports and offers all-day health monitoring, including heart rate, blood oxygen and stress levels.

On a single charge, the Honor Band 9 offers up to 14 days of battery life.
