Huawei nova 12 series launches in Malaysia

Smartphones are essential fashion statement these days, and if you are looking for a stylish phone with an ultra-clear selfie camera, you have the Huawei nova 12 series to go for.

Comprising the Nova 12s, Nova 12 SE and Nova 12i, these phones feature a sleek and stylish design, where the leading Nova 12s comes in a 6.88mm slim body with a petal texture back in White and Blue, while a bold Black color model is also available.

Huawei Nova 12s

The Nova 12s features a 6.7-inch OLED display that refreshes at 120Hz, it is powered by a Snapdragon 778G+ 4G chipset that’s paired to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, which is a rather dated configuration and similar to its predecessor, but it still works fine for modern standards.

The phone’s main camera array comprises of a 50MP f/1.9 Huawei Ultra Vision main and an 8MP ultrawide cameras, the front portrait camera can take a staggering 60MP resolution, which is the highest of any similar segment phones and it is clear that the phone is targeted at selfie lovers.

Despite its slim form factor, Huawei has still managed to fit in a sizable 4500mAh battery and supports 66W Huawei SuperCharge Turbo 2.0

The Huawei Nova 12s runs on EMUI 14 that’s based on Android 12 without Google Mobile Services. However, Huawei’s AppGallery offers most of the essentials and the phone already comes preloaded with MicroG service that works with most side loaded Google apps.

The Huawei Nova 12s can be preordered now till 12th April 2024 for the price of RM1,999, customers will receive free gifts worth RM988 that includes a Huawei Watch GT SE 3 and a gift package.

Huawei Nova 12 SE

The Nova 12 SE is a slightly smaller device with a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display that refreshes at 90Hz, it is powered by a Snapdragon 680 processor paired to 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage, it has a triple camera setup on the back that includes a 108MP main, 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro, while the front camera still takes relatively high resolution selfies at 32MP.

Despite the slightly thick form factor, Huawei has still decided to stick with the same 4500mAh battery capacity on the Nova 12 SE but it thankfully supports the same 66W Huawei SuperCharge Turbo 2.0 charging wattage.

Similar to the Nova 12s, it will also ship with EMUI 14 based on Android 12 with no support for Google Mobile Services.

The Huawei Nova 12 SE retails for RM1,499 and can be preordered as well starting today till 12th April 2024, preorder customers will receive the same free gift bundle as the Nova 12s.

Huawei Nova 12i

Those seeking for a budget and stylish phone can consider the Nova 12i, where it features a large 6.7-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display that refreshes at 90Hz, it has the same processing power as the Nova 12 SE, while you get an 108MP main camera on the back that’s complemented by a 2MP depth camera, and a 5000mAh battery that supports 40W Huawei SuperCharge.

The Huawei Nova 12i can now be preordered for RM1,299, customers will receive a Huawei Band 8 and exclusive gift bundle when they preorder the phone.
