Most retailers and carriers, including Apple itself, are offering great deals on the iPhone 13. If you’ve got an older iPhone that you’re looking to trade in, you can save hundreds on a new model, or you can save with special offers from carriers. We’ve rounded up some of the best deals out there right now.

Use Apple’s trade-in service and save hundreds on your iPhone 13 purchase. Though its site quotes up to $620 off right now, the higher amounts are for folks handing over a model from the newer iPhone 14 or 15 series, which you’re unlikely to be doing when buying an iPhone 13. The highest price paid for an older model is $370 for the iPhone 12 Pro Max or $220 for the standard iPhone 12. If you’re financing the purchase, Apple will apply the trade-in amount as a credit after it has inspected the device you send in, or it’ll refund the trade-in amount to your original payment method if you paid in full up front.
Grab an iPhone 13 from $17.50 per month with AT&T, and then trade in your old device to save some money via credits. AT&T offers discounts similar to Apple’s, including up to $230 off for the iPhone 12 Pro Max, but it also accepts devices from Samsung, Google and other brands.
Right now Verizon will give you an iPhone 13 for free if you take out a new line. Multiple colors are available, and you’ll get the full price of the iPhone applied as credit to your account over the course of 36 months. Any new 5G line will work, too.
There are also some other bonuses available, including $280 in promo credit off an eligible iPad or $120 off an Apple Watch SE with the purchase, but you’ll need a new line for these devices as well.
T-Mobile is offering multiple deals on the iPhone 13, including a few ways to get your hands on one for free. Those adding a new line can get one for free when they either switch over their existing number from another carrier, or with an eligible trade-in. You can also save $315 with just a new line, or buy one and get $700 off another with at least one new line.
