Mingtiandi returns to Singapore on 14 November and Asia’s biggest names in real estate will be joining us for the city-state’s largest gathering of investors, developers and advisors of 2023.
The second annual Mingtiandi Singapore Focus Forum brings speakers from top pension fund managers including Ivanhoe Cambridge, Oxford Properties and APG, together with leading private equity firms such as Warburg Pincus, Gaw Capital, ESR and SC Capital for a full day of interviews and panel discussions covering topics developed by Mingtiandi’s industry-leading editorial team.
Following the success of Mingtiandi’s North Asia-focused Hong Kong Forum, which attracted more than 200 senior industry executives in June, the Singapore Forum will concentrate on opportunities and strategies for Southeast Asia and is expected to bring in more than 220 attendees from around the region.
Tickets for the event at the Conrad Centennial hotel in Singapore, which is sponsored by Yardi, are available at early-bird discounts through Friday, 20 October.
Southeast Asia Industrial in the Spotlight
The forum will open with a keynote panel featuring Alessandro Fiascaris, head of Asia Pacific for Oxford Properties; George Agethen, co-head of Asia Pacific for Ivanhoé Cambridge and Jeremy Lake, managing director for investment sales and capital markets with Savills Singapore, as these investment veterans provide an overview of the outlook for the market for Southeast Asia’s primary financial hub and the broader region.
Following that open session, Mingtiandi founder Michael Cole will interview Warburg Pincus managing director for Singapore, Fan Li, together with Fion Ng, COO of Vietnam’s BW Industrial and Kevin Kow, group CEO and president director with Indonesia’s NWP Property.
With both BW and NWP established as Warburg Pincus portfolio companies focused on industrial real estate, the three business leaders will be sharing from their experiences developing and managing warehouses, workshops and other assets in Southeast Asia’s most promising economies.
Later in the morning a panel on Singapore commercial markets will feature senior executives from Gaw Capital and TE Capital Partners, along with other speakers to be named in the coming days, for a look at the prospects for the region’s hottest office locations.
Closing out the morning will be a panel dedicated to industrial ventures across Southeast Asia, featuring Jai Mirpuri, head of Singapore development and Thailand for ESR, along with Mark Gladu, a senior director with the logistics and industrial capital markets team for Asia Pacific at JLL, with additional speakers to be named soon.
