Chinese e-commerce giant JD announced on Wednesday that it would unveil its answer to ChatGPT at the JD Cloud Summit, scheduled to take place on July 13 in Beijing. According to the official statement, JD’s newly appointed CEO Sandy Xu is expected to attend and deliver the opening speech. He Xiaodong, the company’s vice president, has previously stated that JD’s release of the ChatJD large language model represents an industrial version of ChatGPT, with a specific focus on retail and finance.
