The Kilow Gravel electric bicycle is now available to pre-order. The new model weighs just 11.6 kg (~25.6 lbs), thanks to a carbon frame, lightweight 250W motor and battery. The standard power pack provides up to 50 km (~31 miles) range, with an optional extender doubling this to 100 km (~62 miles).
Kilow has unveiled the Gravel e-bike at Roc d’Azur 2023, now available to pre-order. The ultralight model weighs 11.6 kg (~25.6 lbs), including the carbon fiber frame, 1.9 kg (~4.2 lbs) motor and 1.4 kg (~3.1 lbs) battery. A 250W Maxon engine assists you at speeds up to 25 kph (~16 mph), delivering up to 40 Nm torque.
The Gravel has a 240 Wh battery providing a 50 km (~31 miles) range, which can be doubled to 100 km (~62 miles) with an extender. You can toggle between the three assistance modes using the minimal integrated interface, where you can also view your remaining battery level. Further details are available on your smartphone via the Maxon iOS or Android app. Other features include a 12-speed SRAM Force AXS groupset with electronic transmission and Hutchinson tires; you can choose from racing or gravel tires, and add mudguards for €59.
The electric bicycle is available in four sizes, from XS to L, with a Speckled white or Matte black frame. You can pre-order the Kilow Gravel for €9,490; the company is shipping the new model to various countries worldwide, including the US and the UK. It is unclear when deliveries of the e-bike will begin.
