Previously announced for the Japanese market in November last year, the Minisforum NAG6 has made its official debut in China. The mini PC is now available with a starting price tag of CNY4599, which converts to around US$648.
After a year of being announced for Japan, the Minisforum NAG6 has landed on the Chinese market. The mini PC comes with the Intel Core i9-12900H processor, which features 14 cores and 20 threads. While this CPU might be a little dated, it’s still more than good enough for heavy workloads and gaming.
On the note of gaming, the NAG6 mini PC features a dedicated GPU. It’s the RX 6600M, which boasts 8 GB of GDDR6 memory and scores 7926 points in the Time Spy benchmark.
As for the other specs, the Minisforum NAG6 mini PC has dual-channel DDR4 memory support (Crucial 16 GB RAM kit curr. US$$31.99 on Amazon) and comes with M.2 slots for SSDs. It also can hold two 2.5-inch drives, making it easier to expand the system’s storage.
When it comes to cooling, the NAG6 mini PC flaunts a four-fan setup. This cooling system can properly address the heat dissipation of all the components inside.
Besides, the Minisforum NAG6 mini PC has a good number of ports, including HDMI, USB-C, and Ethernet. Regarding pricing, the barebones model is CNY4599, which is around US$648. In comparison, the Japanese release had a starting price tag of JPY158,900, about US$1,063.
