Casiris has revealed the H6, a 4K ultra short throw tri-color laser projector. The new model will shortly crowdfund on Indiegogo, though pricing has not been confirmed. The device has up to 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness, covers 110% of the BT.2020 color gamut and runs on Android TV.

The Casiris H6 4K UST Tri-color Laser Projector will soon begin crowdfunding on Indiegogo. Compared to the older Casiris A6, the H6 is brighter, with greater color accuracy and a large recommended image size. The new ultra-short throw model can project images up to 150-in (~381 cm) wide with a 0.25:1 throw ratio.

The H6 has an RGB triple laser light source, delivering a maximum brightness of 3,000 ANSI lumens, expected to last for 30,000 hours. The projector covers 110% of the BT.2020 color gamut and 207% of the Rec 709 color space. Other features include support for HDR10 and focus and eight-point keystone correction tools to perfect the image. You can connect gadgets to the projector via HDMI/HDMI eARC and USB-A ports. Plus, the device has a 35ms low latency mode, MEMC motion smoothing and is 3D compatible; you must provide a pair of active shutter 3D glasses to use this feature.

The new Casiris projector has two built-in 15W speakers supporting Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD. The new model runs on Android with wireless screen-casting and 4+64GB memory. The brand’s website indicates that the Casiris H6 projector’s Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign will launch this Autumn, though a precise date and pledge levels have yet to be announced.
