The OnePlus Ace 3V is official and it will go down in history as the first phone with the new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. This chip uses the new Cortex-X4 CPU core like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, it’s one generation newer than what’s inside the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 that the original OnePlus Ace 3 uses. As for the GPU, the plus chip should be closer to the 8 Gen 2 than the vanilla 7 Gen 3.

The phone also comes with a new design – the large circular bump on the back is gone, replaced with a more discrete camera island with two cameras and a circular flash. The front is different too, the display is now flat.
The display is a 6.74” AMOLED with 1,240 x 2,772px resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It renders 10-bit colors with 100% DCI-P3 coverage. Peak brightness is 2,150 nits with DC dimming at higher levels and high frequency PWM (2,160Hz) at lower levels. Note that this is not an LTPO panel like the regular Ace 3. Punch hole into the display is a 16MP sensor with an f/2.4 82° lens and 1080p @ 30fps video recording.
Returning to the rear cameras, the main 50MP module utilizes a Sony IMX882, which is a 1/2” sensor than the IMX890 (1/1.56”) on the regular Ace 3. It still has OIS, though. Also on the back is an 8MP ultra wide (112°). For video capture, the main camera can do 4K at 60fps with EIS and OIS.
The phone pairs the 7+ Gen 3 chip with 12/16GB of RAM (LPDDR5X) and 256/512GB storage (UFS 4.0). The chipset is kept cool by a large 9,140mm² vapor chamber. The Ace 3V runs Android 14 (well Oxygen 14/ColorOS 14) out of the box.
The battery has 5,500mAh capacity and supports 100W SuperVOOC S charging with a dedicated power management chip. Official numbers claim that a charge from 1% to 100% takes only 26 minutes.
Unlike the regular model, the 3V has a dust and water resistance rating – IP65. OnePlus claims that the touch panel can detect your finger even if the display is wet. And the trademark 3-position alert slider is still on board.

The OnePlus Ace 3V is currently on pre-order in China. The base 12/256GB model costs CNY 2,000 (which converts to $280/€255/₹23,500). There is also a 12/512GB model for CNY 2,300 and the top spec 16/512GB version for CNY 2,600. For comparison, the base Ace 3 12/256GB is CNY 2,600 and the 16/512G version is CNY 3,000. Open sales will start on March 25 (Monday).
For international fans, the Ace 3V is expected to be the base of the OnePlus Nord 4. The company officially confirmed that a Nord CE4 is on the way – launching on April 1, no joke! – but that one will use the vanilla Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. Whether the Nord 4 itself also arrives on April 1 is unclear.
