Realme is expected to launch a “GT Neo6” (or, possibly, GT3 Pro for the international market) with a particularly fast AMOLED display, albeit perhaps driven by a higher-end processor. Now, the device is also slated to get a new 50MP main camera from Sony, along with the same class-leading charging options as its Neo5 predecessor.
The Nord 3 has only just launched, yet is now said to have competition in the form of another new smartphone to be released by Realme sometime soon. The “GT Neo6” is now said to have the same triple rear cameras as OnePlus’ latest mid-range flagship, which is touted as capable of flagship-level photography thanks to its up-to-date Sony IMX800-series sensor.
Furthermore, the Neo6 is now also believed to launch with the Nord 3’s practically unique selling point of IR blaster support. These new rumors come courtesy of the leaker Abhishek Yadav, based on the appearance of a new registration by Realme with the Chinese regulator TENAA.
It concerns the RMX3820 and RMX3823, which appear to be 2 variants of the same new smartphone, varying in terms of battery size. Accordingly, the tipster now asserts that this new leak indicates that the Neo6 will get 150W SuperVOOC/5,200mAh battery and 240W SuperVOOC/4600mAh battery SKUs, much like its pioneering forebear, after all.
The new TENAA leak also concurs with an earlier tip that hints the Neo6 and Nord 3 will even look alike, although the former will disguise that resemblance with a second-gen rear camera visor that might be decorated with faux-transparent accents advertising its main specs.
These, according to Yadav, include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC that could blow OnePlus’ choice of the Dimensity 9000 away, particularly as it could drive a superior 144Hz AMOLED display in this case. Then again, any chance of a real-world Neo6 that could outpace its competition in this way remains to be seen.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
