Weibo insider Digital Chat Station has revealed some more information about the Remi K70 Ultra. Its screen will be one of the brightest ones on a smartphone so far.
Leaks about the Redmi K70 Ultra have been around for a while, but the phone still does not have a release date, not even a tentative one. Redmi will want to space it out; otherwise, it runs the risk of overshadowing its non-Ultra variants, which have already sold over 2 million units in two weeks. Those waiting for the Ultra model will be pleased to know Digital Chat Station revealed more of the phone’s specs.
The leaker said earlier that the Redmi K70 Ultra would launch with a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC and a 1.5K OLED screen clocked at 120 Hz. DCS subtly hints it will use the Honor Magic6’s screen with a peak brightness of 5,000 nits and a PWM frequency higher than 4,320 Hz. This puts it in borderline flagship territory, and it’ll be nice if the phone gets a global launch.
Other Redmi K70 Ultra specs include up to 24 GB of LPDDR5T RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It joins the ever-growing club of smartphones with copious amounts of memory, most of which have been limited to the Chinese market so far. The only remaining piece of the puzzle is its camera, and it should be long before it leaks online.
