Xiaomi Malaysia has announced the Redmi Pad Pro, it is the first Pro tablet within the lineup and it boasts several flagship-level features at an affordable price.
The Redmi Pad Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor paired to either 6GB RAM+128GB storage or 8GB RAM+256GB storage, it has a large 12.1-inch 2.5K resolution 120Hz display with support for Dolby Vision, while complementing the visual experience is a quad-speaker sound system with Dolby Atmos support.
The tablet will offer days of general usage with its large 10000mAh battery and supports 33W wired fast charging. For added productivity convenience, the Redmi Pad Pro can be paired with a Redmi Pad Pro Smart Keyboard and Redmi Smart Pen, the latter features a 4096-level pressure sensitivity and 240Hz sampling rate, which offers a smooth scribbling experience that not many similar-priced Android tablets can offer.
The Redmi Pad Pro comes in three colors of Graphite Gray, Mint Green and Ocean Blue, the 6GB RAM+128GB storage model retails for RM1,099, the 8GB RAM+256GB storage model retails for RM1,499. the former is an online exclusive device and can be purchased from Mi.com, Lazada and Shopee, while the latter can be purchased from online and retail channels.
For a limited time, Xiaomi is offering an early bird price of RM999 for the base storage model of the Redmi Pad Pro, while the higher storage variant will receive a free Redmi Pad Pro keyboard worth RM399.
The Redmi Smart Pen and Redmi Pad Pro Cover can be purchased separately for RM199 and RM99 respectively.
