Apple is gearing up a retail launch of its highly anticipated Vision Pro headset in select US markets early next year. However, unlike traditional product releases, Apple has decided to make the headset available exclusively through appointments.

Creating Dedicated Spaces within Apple Stores

To cater to potential buyers, Apple plans to establish dedicated areas within its stores that will feature seating, demo units, and tools for sizing accessories. These spaces will provide a comfortable and immersive environment for customers to explore the Vision Pro headset.

Initial Launch in Select US Markets

While the Vision Pro headset will be available at approximately 270 Apple locations in the US, the initial launch will concentrate on major areas such as New York and Los Angeles. Apple aims to provide a focused and tailored experience for customers in these prominent areas.

Expansion into International Markets

Apple has announced its intention to make the Vision Pro headset available in other countries, starting at the end of 2024. The United Kingdom and Canada are being considered as the first international markets for the device.
