Samsung Galaxy S23 Deals: Save Up to $1,000 on the S23 Ultra, S23 Plus, S23 and S23 FE

Samsung Galaxy S23 Deals: Save Up to $1,000 on the S23 Ultra, S23 Plus, S23 and S23 FE

For Android users, Samsung is known for making some of the best phones on the market. If you’re looking for the latest and greatest, then the most recent Galaxy S23 lineup is where you should start. Whether that’s the budget-friendly Galaxy S23 FE or Samsung’s most powerful offering, the S23 Ultra, we’ve collected some of the best deals we can find to make them more affordable.

In February of 2023, Samsung unveiled the current lineup which includes the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra. All three retain the same screen sizes as the 2022 models at 6.1, 6.6 and 6.8 inches, respectively, with a refined external design and some modest upgrades to the camera hardware, battery sizes and internal storage of the larger two models. A special version of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor powers the new phones and is optimized for the new Galaxy S23 lineup, which we found in our tests to have much faster performance than the S22.

The new Galaxy S23 FE hit shelves later in October of 2023, and is the most affordable model in the S23 lineup. It has a midsize 6.4-inch display and improved battery life but comes equipped with the previous-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. While we don’t yet know what 2024 will bring us from the Samsung Galaxy line — the next Unpacked event will be Jan. 17, 2024 — we do know there are plenty of deals on their current offerings of upgraded Android phones.

Best Galaxy S23 deals

Right now, Samsung will knock up to $500 off the Galaxy S23 and $500 off the S23 Plus, or $525 off the S23 Ultra with an eligible trade-in. Newer Apple and Samsung devices will net you the most, but you’ll get enhanced credit for phones from Google, Motorola and other brands as well.

Additional offers are available if you activate your new phone through a carrier. Verizon customers can save up to $800 with a trade-in on a Plus Unlimited plan, while T-Mobile customers can save up to $800 with a trade-in.

Samsung is also offering some other bonuses, including $190 off a Galaxy Watch 6, up to $192 off a Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, and $180 off a pair of Galaxy Buds 2 Pro if bundled with a Galaxy S23 Ultra. If you purchase a Galaxy S23 Plus or Galaxy S23, you can get up to $114 off the Galaxy Watch 6.

You’ll also get some free services with any of the Galaxy S23 phones, including two free months of Adobe Lightroom, four months of YouTube Premium, four months of Sirius XM and six months of Microsoft 365 Basic (if you’re a new subscriber).

Best Buy has limited offerings as far as direct discounts on unlocked models go. You can save $112 off the price of the unlocked 512GB Galaxy S23 Plus, bringing it down from $1,200 to $1,008 (phantom black color only). Additionally, you can get a free one-month Xbox Ultimate Game Pass and a four-month Premium Subscription to SiriusXM.

AT&T and Verizon customers can save up to $1,000 with an eligible trade-in and activation on a qualifying service plan.

Verizon is offering both new and existing customers a chance to save on Galaxy S23 phones. Those adding a new line of service can get the Galaxy S23 FE for free, or save up to $800 on the basic Galaxy S23, or up to $1,000 on the S23 Plus and Ultra with a trade-in. Plus, existing Verizon customers who qualify for an upgrade can still save up to $800 on the S23, S23 Plus and S23 Ultra with an eligible trade-in, which still scores you the basic Galaxy S23 for free.

Additionally, right now you can get up to $350 back in promotional credits when you add a Galaxy Watch 6 to your purchase.

For the Galaxy S23 with AT&T, get up to $800 in trade-in credit when you trade in an eligible device and choose an unlimited plan. Currently, AT&T does not have the S23 Plus or Ultra listed for sale. You can get the S23 FE for $11 a month with no trade-in required.

T-Mobile is offering new and existing customers quite a few ways to save on the S23 series right now. Those adding a new line of service can save up to $800 when signing up for a Go5G Next or Go5G Plus plan, or you can save $600 when adding a new line on a different qualifying service plan, which scores you the Galaxy S23 FE for free.

If you already have a Go5G Next or Plus plan (or switch to one), you can also save up to $800 with an eligible trade-in, which scores you the Galaxy S23 or S23 FE for free. The latest iPhones will net you the biggest discount, but Xfinity also accepts models from Samsung and Google, as well as tons of smaller brands. Like most other carrier trade-in offers, the discount will be applied in the form of monthly bill credits. You can also choose to receive your money back in the form of a check, although it may reduce your discount a bit.

New Google Fi customers can save $500 on the Galaxy S23 as a direct discount. There are also trade-in credits of up to $500 for the S23 Plus, or $550 on the S23 Ultra with activation on a qualifying service plan. The discount is applied in the form of bill credits over 24 months.
