Samsung’s next trio of flagship Android smartphones are alleged to have appeared on Twitter/X in advance of their launch – albeit possibly in the form of non-working demo units. The new leak purports to confirm each top-end S24-series variant’s design upgrades – or almost total lack thereof, that is. Then again, another tipster purports to debunk these new live images.
A trio of devices with flat edges, SIM card slots next to their USB type-C ports and triple (or quadruple, in the case of the largest model) camera rings could easily be mistaken for the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra have been snapped and uploaded to Twitter/X. However, according to “reviewer of consumer and automotive tech” Sonny Dickson, they actually represent the successor to each of those devices.
Any “S24” and “S24 Plus” design upgrades seem iterative at best, as with their Ultra sibling (or so rumors suggest). All 3 honestly seem almost unchanged in terms of dimensions compared to their alleged forebears, with the S24 Ultra merely getting even more boxy if anything.
On that note, the alleged next-gen Samsung flagship is not photographed side-on, thereby offering no hint of how its putative titanium frame might look in real life. As for the “S24” and “S24 Plus”, they have shiny silver edges that could be made out of nearly any conventional smartphone frame material.
Finally, despite rumors of a colorful choice of rear panel in the next Samsung Galaxy S-line upgrades, each device is portrayed as finished in white (like this S23 FE found on Amazon) in this new leak. All in all, the new tip points to an underwhelming reveal moment for each new S24-series variant.
On the other hand, another well-known leaker, @TechReve, has responded to this new series of photos by dismissing them as “fake“.
