The 11-inch variant of Samsung’s previous-gen Android tablet is closing in on the US$500 mark as Amazon has introduced its biggest discount thus far on the Galaxy Tab S8 WiFi model with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and 128GB of mass storage.
Samsung’s latest and greatest Android-based tablets have been on the market for a few months now, but with prices starting at US$799, even the cheapest base model of the latest iteration in the Galaxy Tab series is anything but wallet-friendly. Fortunately, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is still available as a more affordable alternative, especially since retailers are granting sizable discounts on the high-end slate.
For instance, Amazon has now discounted the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 with WiFi connectivity and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage by 28 percent, which results in a sale price of US$504 including free shipping. This sale only applies to the graphite color variant of the 11-inch tablet, which has now dropped to its lowest price ever on Amazon according to Camelcamelcamel’s price history. This offer is particularly interesting for users who can’t take advantage of Samsung’s enticing education discounts and frequent trade-in promotions.
