Samsung is over a month away from unveiling new devices at its 27th Galaxy Unpacked event. In the meantime, a reliable leaker has offered a first look at the Galaxy Tab S9 series, with the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra set to be the marquee model of the three tablets available.
Leaker @_snoopytech_ has shared a first official look at the Galaxy Tab S9 series, a few days after Tab S9 Plus and Tab S9 Ultra models were seen at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US. Incidentally, @_snoopytech_’s latest leak completes the set of devices that Samsung is anticipated to announce at its next Galaxy Unpacked event, which the company has scheduled for the end of July.
For reference, MySmartPrice first published a press image of the Galaxy Z Fold5, which it followed up with an equivalent of the Galaxy Z Flip5. Subsequently, Roland Quandt offered a bounty of Galaxy Watch6 series photos, confirming Samsung’s intention to offer four smartwatch sizes this year. In comparison, Samsung will continue to offer three sizes of flagship tablets, likely split by 11-inch, 12.4-inch and 14.6-inch screen sizes and sold as the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9 Plus and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, respectively.
As CAD-based renders suggested, the latter carries over the design of its predecessor, including its notch for two front-facing cameras. @_snoopytech_’s leak confirms that this will also apply to the Galaxy Tab S9 and Galaxy Tab S9 Plus, which appear to have comparatively thick display bezels like last year’s models. Other details have not leaked yet, although Samsung is expected to equip its trio of new tablets with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset. Allegedly, Samsung will equip the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra with a new display, albeit still an OLED panel. Separately, the full set of Galaxy Tab S9 series accessories have already surfaced, which include new products like the S Pen Pro 2 and the NotePaper Screen Case.
