Reportedly, Samsung has chosen the location for its next Galaxy Unpacked launch event. While unconfirmed for now, the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra are all rumoured to debut in the vicinity of Apple’s headquarters.
According to Sedaily, Samsung has already decided the location of its next Galaxy Unpacked event. For context, the company returned to its home market in August for the release of the Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Watch6 series. Historically, Samsung has showcased new devices in the US first, such as the Galaxy Note9 in New York.
Reportedly, Samsung will decamp to San Francisco for its next Galaxy Unpacked event, during which it is expected to announce the Galaxy S24 series. In other words, the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra could be unveiled near Apple’s headquarters, with San Francisco less than an hour away from Cupertino. It is worth noting that Samsung has not officially confirmed this yet. Instead, Sedaily has made its assertions based on statements received from unnamed industry representatives.
Also, the website has not disclosed a date for the rumoured Galaxy Unpacked event either. However, earlier leaks suggest that Samsung is targeting a January 2024 introduction for the Galaxy S24 series, less than a year after it released the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra. In the meantime, Qualcomm will present its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which should underpin Samsung’s Galaxy S24 trio in some markets.
