Samsung touts its Smart Monitor series as the ideal display to put to dual-function use as a home IoT hub. Now, the 32-inch variant from its 2022 generation is available for US$100 less than normal online. It offers dual HDMI inputs as well as a 4K panel and USB type-C with 65W charging.
Samsung’s latest 2023 (or M70C) 32-inch Smart Monitor has yet to appear on Amazon – however, a good sign that it is indeed on the way has popped up in the form of a new deal. The external display’s M70B predecessor has been reduced to 75% of its starting price on the site.
The M70B is a second-gen monitor specifically designed to support streaming and smart home apps out of the box. In fact, Samsung aspires to optimize all dimensions of home life (those for working and gaming included) with a compatible SlimFit camera for apps such as Google Duo or Zoom.
The 2022 Smart Monitor also offers dual (non-service) type-A ports as well as 2 HDMI ports – although only 1 has ARC in the latter case. Like its 2023 successor, it is also rated for “true 4K HDR” – then again, it is also 60Hz and LED.
The 32-inch Smart Monitor M7 M70B can be found bundled with a “Game + IoT Hub” in black or white for US$299 (or about the same as its FHD 2023 M50C counterpart right now) on Amazon.
