We may never get a popcorn bucket more glorious than Dune: Part Two‘s model—the fact that it was so unintentionally crass is maybe its most fantastic achievement—but its lasting impact is still being felt at the concession stand.
First, Deadpool & Wolverine tried to one-up the tendril-bedecked sandworm with its own deliberately crass release; now, we’ve got Alien: Romulus teasing a bucket that lets you chomp kernels from a Xenomorph’s cranium.
It’s unfortunately not quite accurate in scale (could anyone eat that much popcorn?), but it’s still a decent size—plus, it looks like the skull is mostly hollow, meaning you can maximize your snack capacity. Even more importantly, it’s cool as hell. Check out Cinemark Theatres’ hot-buttered tease:
