Introduction
Tecno’s latest Spark 20 Pro+ is the culmination of the Spark 20 series and features everything the maker can offer in this price range without breaking the bank. And while the Spark 20 Pro+ is no flagship, it sure looks like one.
Starting with an exquisite design, the Tecno Spark 20 Pro+ immediately grabs your attention. It has a curved profile with a thin, shiny frame and a back panel covered with vegan leather, which is incredibly nice on the touch. The phone is IP53-rated for dust and splash protection.
The 6.78-inch AMOLED is of premium quality with 1B colors, an extended 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It supports Always-on and has Dynamic Island-like animations around its tiny punch hole.
The Spark 20 Pro+ is powered by the Helio G99 Ultimate chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. MicroSD expansion is available, too.
Tecno has equipped the Spark 20 Pro+ with a 1080MP main camera with 3x in-sensor zoom and a 32MP selfie camera. There is also a 2MP macro camera and one small auxiliary sensor on the back for unknown purposes.
Finally, the specs sheet concludes with a pair of speakers, a 5,000mAh battery capable of 33W fast wired charging, and the latest Android 14 OS.

Our only complaint so far is about the unnecessary large camera housing, which is mostly just for show, and the Spark 20 Pro+ could have looked even sleeker without it.
Unboxing the Tecno Spark 20 Pro+
The retail box of the Tecno Spark 20 Pro+ is the epitome of a complete package when it comes to a smartphone. The bundle contains a 33W power adapter, a USB-C-to-A cable, and there is even a pair of USB-C earbuds.
Tecno has also included a transparent silicone caseand a glass screen protector with 9H hardness.
The box itself is a nice thick affair that should protect the phone just fine. Unfortunately, the inner cradle for the device is made of plastic, which is not the most ecological choice.
