On January 18th, Tesla officially started the nationwide tour of the Cybertruck and has begun accepting registrations. According to the latest news, the cities for the first exhibition will be determined based on registration.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk previously stated that it is very difficult to legally sell the Cybertruck in the Chinese market, but the company still plans to showcase some prototypes. After a wait of four years, this highly anticipated pickup truck began delivering its first batch of customers on December 1, 2023 at the Austin Superfactory in Texas.
According to reports, the starting price of the Cybertruck is $60,990 for the rear-wheel drive version. It has a range of 402 kilometers and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 6.7 seconds. The top speed is up to 180 kilometers per hour. This model will be launched in 2025. The all-wheel drive version is priced at $79,990, with a range of up to 547 kilometers. With the purchase of an extended package, the range can be increased to over 755 kilometers. Additionally, it has an acceleration time from zero to one hundred kilometers per hour in just 4.3 seconds and a top speed of also up to 180 kilometers per hour. This year will mark the first launch of this beastly pickup truck edition.
In addition, Tesla has also launched a limited edition Cybertruck with a price tag as high as $99,990. The vehicle has a range of up to 515 kilometers, which can be extended to over 705 kilometers with an optional package. Furthermore, this beastly version of the car boasts a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 209 km/h. It is also set to be released this year.
In terms of interior design, the Cybertruck is equipped with a massive 18.5-inch touchscreen in the front row and a 9.4-inch touchscreen in the rear row, featuring a brand-new user interface design. Additionally, the new vehicle is equipped with convenient facilities such as wireless phone charging pad, 65W USB-C ports, and 120V/240V power outlets.
