Ugreen, a brand best known for smartphone and computer accessories, has branched out to network attached storage (NAS). The company unveiled the Ugreen NASync series at CES 2024, which comprises six NAS devices with up to Intel Core i5-1235U processor, Thunderbolt 4, an intuitive and seamless management system, and up to dual 10 GbE ports.

The Ugreen NASync series has been announced at CES 2024, bringing the brand’s first NAS devices. This lineup consists of six different models with 2-bay, 4-bay, 6-bay, 8-bay, and all-flash configurations. The brand hasn’t announced pricing details yet, but it plans to launch them soon, starting with a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign.

In the NASync series, the base model is the DXP2800, which comes with a 2-bay configuration and an Intel N100 processor under the hood. Ugreen paired the CPU with 32 GB of eMMC storage, two M.2 SSD slots, one 2.5 GbE port, and 8 GB of DDR5 RAM that can be expanded to 16 GB.

Next in line are the Ugreen NASync DXP4800 and DXP4800 Plus, both featuring a 4-bay config. The first one comes with the same Intel N100 as the base NAS device, while the Plus version has Pentium Gold 8505. Both sport 8 GB of DDR5 RAM with the option to expand the memory to 16 GB and 32 GB, respectively.

There’s a difference in storage, with the first coming with 32 GB of eMMC and the Plus coming with 128 GB of SSD. Also, the DXP4800 NAS has two 2.5 GbE ports, while the DXP4800 Plus has one 2.5 GbE and one 10 GbE.

Ugreen’s NASync series also has the DPX6800 Pro and DXP8800 Plus, with 6-bay and 8-bay configuration, respectively. Both NAS devices pack the Intel Core i5-1235U with 8 GB of DDR5 RAM and 128 GB of SSD. They have dual 10 GbE ports, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, and one PCIe x4 expansion slot.

The last model in the Ugreen NASync lineup is the DXP480T Plus. The core specs are similar to the DXP6800 Pro and DXP8800 Plus, but it doesn’t have any SATA drive bays. Instead, it comes with four M.2 slots with a maximum storage support of 16 TB. You can check out the specs of each in detail on the full spec sheet attached below.
