The vivo S19 series arrived, and with them, the company also announced a new wearable. Meet the vivo Watch GT, the brand’s first smartwatch with a rectangular screen. It comes with eSIM support, which will likely remain a feature available only to Chinese carriers.
The Watch GT has a 1.85″ AMOLED screen with 2.5D curved glass on all four sides. The body itself is an aluminum alloy casing, and there are sensors on the back for heart rate and SpO2 tracking.

The Watch GT features a 505 mAh battery, but sadly lacks wireless charging; the cell is charged with a dual pogo pin and a dedicated charger. Theclaimed battery life is 9 days in power-saving mode with eSIM enabled, and 3 days of normal use. Disabling the eSIM gives a 2.5x boost to endurance – up to 21 days and 10 days, respectively.
The user interface is called BlueOS and is fueled by AI because, of course it is. Some features include smart note-taking, where you dictate to it and then it syncs the content to the phone’s notes app. It can also read the latest updates on commutes, tickets, and reminders and displays them on the watch face at a glance. Unfortunately vivo doesn’t reveal the chipset powering the Watch GT.
The vivo Watch GT also supports NFC and QR code payments, setup done through the dedicated vivo app.

The wearable weighs 33 grams without the strap and comes in Black or White colors. It supports all standard 20 mm straps, with the former option coming out of the box with a rubber band and the latter with a leather band.
Sales of the vivo Watch GT will begin on June 14. Prices are CNY799 ($110/€100) for the Black version or CNY899 ($125/€115) for the White model.
