Week 24 in review: Galaxy S23 FE is coming in Q3, Nothing Phone (2) set for July 11

Week 24 is done, so let’s recap it. The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE was reported to arrive earlier than Q4. The fan edition S23 will likely drop between July and September in select markets and have a broader release in Q4 and Q1 of 2024.

The OnePlus Nord 3 was revealed in official-looking press renders. Being a rebadged Ace 2V, it will have a 6.74-inch 120Hz display, a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide, 16MP selfie, and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging. It will use a Dimensity 9000 SoC with up to 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. The Nord 3 is coming to Europe and rumor has it the 8/128GB version will cost €449 while the 16/256GB one will be €549.

Nothing announced that the Phone (2) is going live on July 11 at a special online event. Expect a 6.67-inch AMOLED, a 4,700mAh battery, and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip.

We received yet another detailed Google Pixel 8 camera report. The Pro will have a 64MP IMX787 ultrawide, a 50MP Samsung GN2 wide camera, a 48MP Samsung GM5 5x telephoto, a time of flight sensor, a flash, and a FIR thermometer. The vanilla will have a 12MP IMX386 ultrawide (narrower than the Pro), the same main camera, a ToFF sensor (reportedly a different one), and no thermometer.

The Infinix Note 30 VIP is a special edition phone that adds wireless charging for a banging price. It can charge wirelessly at 50W and Infinix offers a special standing air-cooled charger for that purpose. Wired charging is faster at 68W but it fades compared to the 120W charging of its predecessor, the Note 12 VIP.

The Infinix Note 30 VIP has a 5,000mAh battery, a 6nm Dimensity 8050 with 12GB of RAM, and a 6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Infinix Note 30 VIP is available in Magic Black and Glacier Blue for $299.
