The blogger @体验more has exposed the imaging specifications of the Xiaomi 15 Pro phone, with a rear triple camera setup of 50MP OV50K + 50MP + 50MP IMX882 3X.
The blogger did not mention the performance of the main camera, but instead talked about the telephoto lens. She said: “IMX882 has slightly lower resolution than OV64b when digital cropped, but other power consumption technology specifications are still top-notch. Compared to the previous generation 2.9X crop 3.2X jn1, there is a significant improvement, also depending on aperture size.”
OmniVision Group released the OV50K40 mobile CMOS image sensor in March this year, claiming to be the world’s first smartphone image sensor using TheiaCel technology with a single exposure achieving “close to human eye-level dynamic range,” used for flagship rear main cameras.
The OV50K40 50-megapixel image sensor based on TheiaCel technology features a 1.2-micron pixel size and a 1/1.3-inch optical format, with high gain and correlated multiple sampling (CMS) capabilities.
According to the May leaks this year, the Xiaomi 15 Pro engineering machine is equipped with a square Deco in the upper left corner, and the flash has been moved outside of the Deco. Currently, the image display shows a 50MP ultra-large main camera + 50MP ultra-wide-angle + 50MP periscope telephoto lens. The circular design new module is not using JN1 sensor.
Feedback from early prototypes shows that this new device will also be equipped with a 2K new base material full equal-depth curved screen. Among the three-camera solutions with a 50MP ultra-large main camera, one version includes a periscope telephoto lens with long-focus macro capabilities and an all-domain large aperture solution.
