Xiaomi Malaysia launches Redmi Pad SE, Watch 2 Pro and Smart Band 8

Alongside the Xiaomi 13T series, Xiaomi Malaysia has also taken the opportunity to introduce a new tablet and two wearables, they are the Redmi Pad SE, Watch 2 Pro and Smart Band 8.

The Redmi Pad SE emerges as a potent entertainment tablet designed for impeccable viewing, offering an 11″ FHD+ display at a 16:10 ratio. The 90Hz refresh rate, complemented by a brightness of 400 nits, assures smooth visuals even in broad daylight. With the TÜV Rheinland certified Low Blue Light feature, the Redmi Pad SE goes an extra mile to care for users’ eyes by minimizing blue light emissions.

Driven by the Snapdragon® 680 Mobile Platform using a 6nm process, it guarantees robust performance coupled with higher efficiency. Its 8000mAh battery promises up to 14 hours of video play. Enhancing the cinematic experience is the Dolby Atmos® support. For those seeking storage variety, it’s available in an 8GB+128GB variant, with expandability up to 1TB, and comes in Lavender Purple, Graphite Gray, and Mint Green.

The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro is more than just a watch; it’s an extension of one’s personality. Powered by Wear OS by Google, it brings customization at the wearer’s fingertips. It’s not just smart; it’s sporty too, with over 150 sports modes and a 495mAh battery. It’s designed to look good with choices between leather or fluororubber straps and a sharp 1.43″ AMOLED display. For those who like mixing things up, detachable straps in various hues are also up for grabs.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 is where athleticism meets sophistication. The 1.62″ racetrack-shaped AMOLED display assures clarity. It houses the Apollo Blue Lite chipset, which promises a fluid experience at 60Hz, while consuming less power. Its battery life extends up to 16 days, two days more than its predecessor. Sports enthusiasts will appreciate its 5ATM water resistance and over 150 sports modes. Fashion-forward users can swap between various straps, be it leather-braided, checkered, or stainless steel.

The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro, priced at RM 1,199, will be made available at a later date. The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 is priced at RM 199, but early birds can snag it for RM 159 starting 27 September. The Redmi Pad SE will be available from 7 October for RM 799.
