Xiaomi is preparing a third Redmi Note 13 Pro handset after the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus. Soon, there will be the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G, a slightly cheaper alternative to the Redmi Note 13 Pro based around a new MediaTek Helio chipset.
It appears as though Xiaomi will soon expand the Redmi Note 13 series, which currently consists of three models. Not only has Appuals revealed specifications for the Redmi Note 13 4G, but it has also detailed the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G. On the face of it, the latter is a slightly lesser version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro that Xiaomi has been selling since September in China.
Purportedly, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G will cost €349 with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, with Xiaomi charging another €50 for a 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage variant. In other words, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G could retail for almost as much as its 5G counterpart, leaked pricing of which we have covered separately. Unsurprisingly, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G will mirror the Redmi Note 13 Pro in some aspects, including:
200 MP primary (OIS), 8 MP ultra-wide-angle, 2 MP macro, 16 MP front-facing cameras67 W wired charging
However, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G will make do with a 100 mAh smaller battery capacity (5,000 mAh). Also, the 4G model seems to utilise the same 6.67-inch AMOLED display as the Redmi Note 13 5G, which outputs at 2,400 x 1,080 pixels with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G is said to rely upon the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultra, likely a tweaked version of the chipset powering the Redmi Pad and POCO M5. While Appuals has not revealed a release date yet, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G is not expected to arrive until early 2024.
