With an estimated net worth of $3.7 billion, the 18-year-old holds a low profile and does not hold any position in his father’s companies.
Clemente’s father, Leonardo Del Vecchio was an Italian billionaire businessman who established Luxottica, the world’s largest producer and retailer of eyeglasses and frames.
Kim Jung-youn-Online Gaming
Another young billionaire, Kim Jung-youn inherited a 30.78 per cent stake when her father, founder of Nexon died. According to reports, Jung-youn already had shares in the company before the demise of her father.
Her father, Jung-ju established Nexon (video game publishing company) headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. Reports say he withdrew from daily managing the company in 2006 to focus on other investments and philanthropic activities.
Kevin David Lehmann-Healthcare Industry
Kevin David Lehmann owns 50% of Germany’s leading drugstore chain, (drogerie markt). His father who was running the family’s grocery chain transferred ownership of his 50% dm stake to him in 2017.
So, the 20-year-old assumed full ownership of the 50 per cent stake when he clocked 18.
Kim Jung-min-Online Gaming
Jung-min is the elder sister of Jung-youn. The 21-year-old also inherited a 15% stake in game maker Nexon—after their father’s demise in February 2022.
Luca Del Vecchio-Healthcare Industry
Luca also inherited a 12.5% stake in his father’s Luxembourg-based holding company, Defin after his father’s demise. Defin has shares in insurer Generali, banks Mediobanca and UniCredit, and real estate developer Covivio.
The 21-year-old is one of the two children Del Vecchio had with Sabina Grossi, Luxottica’s former head of investor relations.
Alexandra Andresen-Investments
Alexandra is a Norwegian heiress who became the world’s youngest billionaire at age 19 in 2016. She assumed billionaire status when her father transferred ownership of the family-owned investment company, Ferd.
Managed by her father, Johan Andresen, Ferd is an active investor on the Nordic stock exchange and has private equity investments.
Wang Zelong -Pigment production
Wang Zelong became the youngest billionaire in Asia when he inherited a stake worth more than US$1.3 billion in CNNC Hua Yuan Titanium Dioxide Co., a chemical company listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
The 26-year-old also has stakes in Lomon Billions Group, a company that also produces titanium dioxide.
