Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis declared a state of emergency for multiple counties—Broward, Collier, Lee, Miami-Dade and Sarasota—on Wednesday, with the mayor of Miami-Dade County, Daniella Levine Cava, also declaring a local state of emergency.
