The top five self-made millionaire women in Nigeria are :

1. Folorunsho Alakija $1.6 billion

 Alakija is the wealthiest woman in Nigeria. She started from humble beginnings and founded Famfa Oil, a Nigerian oil exploration company. She also established the Rose of Sharon Group, which focuses on fashion, printing, and real estate.

Alakija’s journey from a secretary at a bank to becoming an oil magnate is a testament to her tenacity and strategic vision. Her philanthropic efforts, particularly through the Rose of Sharon Foundation, have helped many widows and orphans in Nigeria.

2. Hajia Bola Shagaya $950 million

3. Daisy Danjuma $900 million
