Vietnam IT Day, an initiative spearheaded by the Group of IT Sharing (GITS), is set to debut in Sydney on Monday, May 6, 2024, at the PwC Australia office in Barangaroo.
Aligned with the announcement of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Australia and Vietnam, Vietnam IT Day offers a timely platform to strengthen bilateral relations, with a particular focus on digital transformation and innovation.
Under the theme “Innovation & Technology: Fostering Australia-Vietnam Partnership,” the third annual Vietnam IT Day presents a rich agenda tailored to Australian enterprises keen on engaging with Vietnam’s vibrant tech landscape. Notable highlights include keynote addresses and panel discussions covering market entry strategies for Vietnam, exploration of innovation ecosystems in both nations, and sharing of success stories from prominent tech firms.
Mr. Quang Nguyen, Chairman of GITS, underscores the event’s distinctiveness in facilitating direct engagement between top-tier Vietnamese tech firms and Australia’s innovation ecosystem, fostering collaboration opportunities between industry leaders of both nations.
“With a delegation of more than 30 tech companies from Vietnam, the event presents a distinctive opportunity for local businesses to connect and collaborate with their Vietnamese counterparts,” said Mr Quang Nguyen.
The event enjoys sponsorship from the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), with backing from Investment NSW, Haymarket HQ, Tech Australia Advocates, Australia-Vietnam Leadership Dialogue (AVLD), and other prominent tech entities. PwC Australia serves as the venue host for this year’s edition.
During the event, GITS will unveil two significant strategic partnerships with AVLD and Austrade.
GITS, founded in July 2017, comprises over 70 technology enterprises with expertise spanning various fields from Vietnam. With a tech talent pool of more than 5,000 engineers, GITS has provided innovative solutions to clients worldwide.
