“1923” actor Cole Brings Plenty, the nephew of “Yellowstone” star Mo Brings Plenty, has died. He was 27.

According to a press release shared by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, deputies discovered his body at 11:45 a.m. local time after being called about an unoccupied vehicle.

He was found in a “wooded area away from the vehicle.”

His death is still being investigated.

The discovery of his body came days after he was named a suspect in a domestic violence case and reported missing. colebringsplenty/Instagram

Cole’s father, Joe Brings Plenty, also confirmed the news via a statement shared by Mo on his social media.

“I am deeply saddened to confirm that my son, Cole, has been found and is no longer with us,” the statement began. “We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the prayers and positive thoughts you sent for Cole.

“We would also like to thank everyone who came to walk beside us as we searched for my son and provided the resources we needed to expand our search areas. I learned this week how many people knew the goodness in Cole’s heart and loved him.”

He had originally gone missing on Easter Sunday, March 30. Lawrence Police Department

Hours after he was reported missing, police announced he was under investigation following a domestic violence incident. Cole Brings Plenty/Instagram

His father asked for privacy to “process” their grief.

Following his death, his talent agency, Phirgun Mair, shared their surprise over his death.

“I will post something more fitting when I can put together the right words. Not the news we were hoping for,” a post on the company’s Facebook page read.

Cole’s death comes just a few days after he was reported missing. He had last been seen on Easter Sunday, March 31, but he wasn’t named a “missing person” until Tuesday, April 2.

Cole was then named as a person of interest regarding a domestic violence incident, which happened on the same day he went missing.

“We’ve identified him as the suspect, have probable cause for his arrest, and issued an alert to area agencies,” the Lawrence Kansas Police Department wrote on Facebook.

He was named a suspect after officers “responded to reports of a female screaming for help.”

Cole acted in two episodes of the “Yellowstone” spinoff as Pete Plenty Clouds and two episodes of the TV series, “Into the Wild Frontier.” He also worked as a model.

According to his Instagram page, he was studying at Haskell Indian Nations University when he died.
