Aerosmith’s ‘Peace Out’ farewell tour is back on with rescheduled dates following abrupt cancellation last year due to frontman Steven Tyler’s damaged vocal chords and larynx.
Last year, Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler damaged his vocal chords and fractured his larynx just three shows into the band’s farewell tour, forcing them to call off the tour for the remainder of the year. Now Aerosmith has announced their rescheduled Peace Out Tour, which kicks off in September at Pittsburgh’s PPG Paints Arena. The tour heads across North America before a finale in Buffalo at the end of February next year.
For longtime fans of the band, it’s notable that original drummer Joey Kramer will not join Aerosmith for the Peace Out Tour, and John Douglas will perform in his place. The Black Crowes and Teddy Swims will support Aerosmith across the tour.
