CEO of Ghana Outstanding Women Awards Africa (GOWA), Afua Asantewaa has failed at her attempt to be the longest singing marathon by an individual in the Guinness World Record.
GWR made her disqualification public after a loyal fan sought to know the result of her attempt.
To the surprise of Ghanaians, Afua Asantewaa got her results in early February and a refund of the money paid to speed up her results but refused to let the public know.
Following such disappointment, Ghanaians have been attacking her for being dishonest to them after massive support for her sing-a-thon.
Responding to the situation, Afua Asantewaa has disclosed that the result came at a point where she was preparing to host an important program that had the President of Ghana, Akufo-Addo attending.
She has stated that she would soon communicate her next line of action.
She wrote on social media; ‘The news of the outcome of my Sing-a-thon attempt came few minutes as I was preparing to host a gala dinner and the launch of the Lebanese Scholarship Alumni Network attended by the President President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. I would announce my next line of action in few days. Thank you all for your love and support.
