After hours of meeting with the federal government, the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and the Trade Union Congress, TUC, have suspended the indefinite strike scheduled to commence on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.
They made the announcement after a marathon meeting held between the unions and the Federal Government.
The action was suspended for 30 days to allow the government to implement some of its promises.
Kemi Kilani recalls that on September 26, the organization announced it would embark on an indefinite strike on Tuesday, October 3.
