Brittany Mahomes just stepped out in an eye-catching pair of jeans, and we’re wondering if this is going to be part of the next denim trend.
For a while now, we’ve been seeing embellished baggy jeans take over Hollywood, despite the ever-present threat of a skinny jeans comeback (I’ll believe it when I see it!). Jennifer Lopez wore baggy jeans with artful dirt, Taylor Swift wore loose jeans with a butterfly cutout, and Travis Kelce just wore baggy-ish jeans with a crisscross rip pattern to an NBA playoffs game. At the same game, Mahomes showed up in low-slung, straight-legged jeans with a raw hem on the side and denim flowers attached, with what looks like beaded embellishments at their centers. The garment is from the Peruvian brand Delosantos. I do think I could make them with a hot glue gun.

Mahomes, who attended the game with her husband, Patrick, styled the pants with a white vest, unbuttoned at the bottom, high-top Converse sneakers, Cartier wrist jewelry, and a high half-pony with her side bangs curled. Mahomes is clearly a big denim fan, she loves denim, denim’s her favorite. (Get a closer look at her full ’fit here.)
On Instagram, the jeans have proved to be controversial with many a detractor. FWIW, it seems like they’re the kind of thing that look really good in a fashion setting, but maybe they stick out at a basketball game. They’re definitely not ugly though! C’mon haters! Be for real!
Brittany Mahomes has every reason to smile, having recently recovered from an awful back injury. “I’m doing great,” she told E! News a few days before the NBA game. “I’m living my best life. My back is no longer broken, so that’s good.” And the Dallas Mavericks, the Mahomeses’ preferred team, have been winning! It’s all coming up Brittany.
