“The Battle For Our Lives” provides simple yet comprehensive explanations for interleukin, interferon, pathogenicity, virulence, and immunomodulation. In addition to exploring the intriguing battle between microbes and the immune system, the book also delves into the compelling stories of historical battles against infectious diseases. These stories showcase incredible courage, fortitude, tragedy, and triumph, including accounts of figures such as Florence Nightingale, Louis Pasteur, Edward Jenner, Jonas Salk, and other resilient researchers.

Infectious diseases affect everyone, from common colds to severe conditions like COVID-19. “The Battle For Our Lives” offers a thorough and accessible explanation of the ongoing battle within humanity, presenting a compelling and enlightening narrative.
