Drake has made a comeback with a new music video titled “8 AM in Charlotte,” leaving fans speculating whether he is aiming at one of his past rap rivals. The video not only showcases Drizzy’s undeniable talent but also presents a heartwarming surprise—the inclusion of his son Adonis. The video itself features the Toronto native amidst a group of individuals wearing hoodies that read “Hate Survivor.” He confidently delivers his verses while donning a multi-color jacket and colorful hair clips in an empty room. 

Throughout the song, Drake showcases his impeccable wordplay and lyrical prowess. The opening lines capture attention with the following captivating bars: 

“We gotta talk about us, I feel like Jordan Peele. Could tell I’m gettin’ under your skin like an orange peel. ‘Cause your words don’t match your actions like a foreign film. And now it’s silence in the Lamb’ like the horror film.” 

These lyrics suggest a subliminal message, potentially directed at fellow rappers who have been involved in past beef, such as Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, and Pusha T.

The song “8 AM in Charlotte” will be featured on Drake’s highly anticipated album, For All The Dogs, scheduled for release on October 6.
