Brand new character posters have been revealed for Dune: Part 2 and they give us our best look yet at the new and returning faces of the upcoming sequel that is set to arrive in theaters on March 1, 2024.
You can check out all the posters below, and they include close-up shots of Timothée Chalamet’s Paul Atreides, Zendaya’s Chani, Rebecca Ferguson’s Lady Jessica, Josh Brolin’s Gurney Halleck, Austin Butler’s Feyd-Rautha, Florence Pugh’s Princess Irulan, Dave Bautista’s Beast Rabban, Christopher Walken’s Emperor Shaddam IV, Léa Seydoux’s Lady Margot, Stellan Skarsgård’s The Baron, Javier Bardem’s Stilgar.
Dune: Part 2 Character Posters
“Dune: Part Two will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a path of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family,” the official description of the film reads. “Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.”
Dune: Part 2 was originally set to be released in theaters on November 3, 2023, but was pushed back amid the then-ongoing writers’ and actors’ strikes.
The original film was released during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and made its delayed debut in North America in both theaters and on HBO Max on October 21, 2021.
In our Dune review, we said it is a “gorgeous but imperfect epic, a technical wonder that spends too much time setting up a third act that never comes.”
