How to play Gray Zone Warfare early access

Gray Zone Warfare promises to be a big and technically advanced game. The developers describe it as having a “vast MMO open world” and features PvEvP and PvE game modes. It’s hotly anticipated, and some influencers have already started streaming it. So, how do you get in on it early?

Well, you can’t join in on Early Access right now. The influencers you may have seen playing it had access to an advanced playtest that isn’t available to the public.

Beyond that, while Gray Zone Warfare is set to launch into Early Access, a release window hasn’t been announced. Madfinger Games is aiming for sometime in 2024, but nothing more specific. It could be in a week (not likely) or at the end of December. Or, in an effort to put their best foot forward, it could be delayed until next year. It happens. But all that is speculation, and until the developer makes an announcement, speculation is all we have.

But, as it is now, unless you’re an influencer and can get the attention of Madfinger Games when they run another playtest, there currently is no way to play Gray Zone Warfare’s Early Access.

What will be included in Gray Zone Warfare Early Access

This is what the devs state will be included in Gray Zone Warfare’s Early access when it eventually launches. Note that this is subject to change.

Three distinct PMC factions supporting up to 48 players in total, with a maximum of 16 players per faction The expansive 42 km² open world of Lamang, based on a real location, showcasing an unprecedented representation of a jungle Ruthless AI behavior, with hundreds of enemies reacting to the player‘s moves through the actions and emotions Complex external and terminal ballistics simulation for a realistic shooting experience Comprehensive simulation of realistic firearm recoil based on real-world data An innovative health system that intricately simulates even bodily cavities and damage effects A network of six unique vendors offering 150 quests in total Eight highly customizable weapons with over 400 interchangeable parts A diverse array of over 80 equipable gear items for tactical advantage. An engaging, interconnected player progression system Detailed character creation and extensive apparel customization options Formidable squads, allowing for up to four members for coordinated gameplay Integrated social features, including Friends, VOIP, and Messenger, for enhanced player interaction
