Who is Performing at This Year’s Halftime Show?
The halftime show is always one of the most eagerly anticipated parts of the Super Bowl. It provides a brief bit of musical respite for those that perhaps aren’t the most interested in sports. Despite her boyfriend Travis Kelce playing either side of halftime, Taylor Swift won’t be making a perfromance during the midway concert.
The entertainment this year comes courtesy of Usher. It’s his first time performing as the main act during the halftime show, but he has appeared once before, as a guest during will.i.am’s 2011 performance.
Perhaps more exciting than that (sorry, Usher fans) is the fact that Spongebob Sqaurepants himself will be in the building to perform the inconic song Sweet Victory before the game gets underway.
What Movie Trailers Will Drop at Super Bowl?
Oh yes, my friend, oh yes. The trailer for Deadpool 3, Marvel’s only 2024 release, is widely slated to drop during the Super Bowl. Disney are also predicted to release trailers for Pixar’s Inside Out 2 and a second look at Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.
Unspursingly, though, it’s Paramount who are getting the lions share of movie previews during this year’s Super Bowl, what with them streaming the event and all.
