The basic idea in LEGO Fortnite is to build structures which can help you survive the environment. But is there a limit to the number of buildings that you can have in your village?
The build limit in LEGO Fortnite refers to the number of establishments that you can have in a given area. While it does inhibit creativity to a certain extent, it’s important to have a limit on such things.
While there are a lot of aspects to which this limit applies, they are area bound. Meaning if you reach a limit to the number of structures that you can craft in a particular area in LEGO Fortnite, you can just move to a different area and start building again.
That said, here’s everything you need to know about the build limit in LEGO Fortnite.
What is the build limit in LEGO Fortnite?
Interestingly enough, there is no specific number associated with the build limit in LEGO Fortnite. Instead, once you start closing in on the limit, you receive a notification that reads “high complexity area.”
If you continue to build in this area, you’ll receive a second warning that will read “very high complexity area.” Once you receive this warning you will not be able to build there anymore. To do so, you will have to establish a new village.

Here’s where the second build limit comes in. At any given point, you can have only one village in a biome. So to build the second village, you will have to make your way to a different biome.

You can easily build villages with your friends in LEGO Fortnite.
That said, you can have a total of 15 villages in a given world. Not only that, in each village, you can have only 5 NPCs. So you need to be very careful with which NPC you want to keep in which biome. Overall, such limits are necessary to facilitate adequate resource distribution.
Although there’s a limit, given the amount of things that you can build in the game is endless, it’s unlikely that you will reach it quickly. You can take your time and let your creativity flow.
However, if you’re just starting out, do take it slow and explore everything that the mode has to offer before committing to building the village of your dreams.
