Ghanaian singer Kuami Eugene has broken his silence following the near-fatal car crash he was involved in Sunday night.
In a statement released via his management team, Lynx Entertainment, Kuami Eugene acknowledged getting into a ghastly accident.
He revealed that he’s currently in hospital receiving treatment and that he’s grateful for all the love and support coming from Ghanaians.
The statement said; “Lynx Entertainment wishes to inform the public that singer Kuami Eugene is alive and currently receiving treatment following a car crash on Sunday, March 17, 2024.
“Our artiste sustained some injuries together with one passenger but currently responding to treatment.
“We appreciate the outpour of love from fans, media and the general public but we plead the artiste is given much space at this moment as he begins his recovery,” the statement concludes.
As earlier reported, Eugene’s Range Rover slammed into the back of a truck on the N1 Highway in Accra around Dzorwulu.
He luckily survived despite his car being completely totaled!
