NeoWiz Games is a successful video game developer that previously worked on titles such as Elyon, Skul: The Hero Slayer and Bless Online. The company is preparing to release its upcoming soulslike game, Lies of P, on September 19th, 2023. It will be available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Ahead of the game’s official release, the team made a demo available to fans. The demo has now hit one million downloads. Furthermore, the demo will be available until June 27th.
Via its official Twitter, the company stated, “Lies of P reached 1 million demo downloads and it has been our pleasure to welcome so many new guests to Krat! The puppets have certainly been busy since your arrival…The demo is available now until June 27.” Besides the downloads, the game hit peak viewership on Twitch at 170k live viewers and was trending on Twitter worldwide. Therefore, it is clear that the demo made a lasting impression on fans.
In the game, players, as a puppet created by Geppetto, are caught in a world filled with monstrous creatures and untrustworthy figures. Thus, players must explore the world of Krat, a city that has now been poisoned and there are unfathomable secrets to overcome and explore. Players will be able to find their own style of combat, by using new abilities, dynamic weapons and utilizing the Legion Arms.
