Chinese Kitty has been steadily making a name for herself with her talent and impressive flow.

The Guyana-born rapper recently dropped a new single called “Hard To Find,” featuring Ohio rapper Doe Boy. The track has been gaining significant traction since its release, highlighting Chinese Kitty’s rising star status.

Rapsody has been teasing fans with snippets from her upcoming album. One single, titled “Asteroids,” has already captured the attention of her followers.

After a four-year hiatus since her last album, the Snowhill, North Carolina native’s comeback promises to reflect growth, creativity, and meaningful storytelling.

In the music scene, long-awaited success can come from unexpected places. Kreayshawn, the rapper hailing from Oakland, California, had a breakthrough moment when her popular single “Gucci, Gucci” achieved platinum certification 12 years after its release. This milestone serves as a testament to the enduring impact of her unique style and catchy hooks.

Mariah Carey has become synonymous with the holiday season. In a recent holiday promotional video, the iconic diva was playfully “defrosted” by various Halloween characters, signaling the start of a winter wonderland. The promo not only showcased Mariah’s timeless charm but also featured her children, adding a heartwarming touch to the festivities.

GloRilla, the talented female rapper from CMG, released her newest single “Pop It” in collaboration with CMG The Label and producer Mike WiLL Made-It. The accompanying music video has already garnered over 128,000 views on YouTube alone, solidifying its potential as the next strip club anthem.

The British girl group FLO achieved a significant milestone in their career by receiving nominations in three categories at the 2023 BET Soul Train Awards. With nominations for “Best New Artists,” “Best Group,” and “Best Collaboration,” FLO continues to make its mark on the music industry.

Victoria Monét, the rising star, has been making waves with her album Jaguar II and hit track “On My Mama.” Her hard work and talent have earned her six major category nominations at the upcoming Soul Train Music Awards, marking her first nomination as a solo artist.

Trina, the legendary rapper, recently spoke out in defense of Sexyy Red and Sukihana, two highly criticized female artists in the hip-hop industry.

During an interview at the 2023 ONE Musicfest, Trina emphasized the importance of personal choice and encouraged listeners to support artists they enjoy, stating, “If you don’t like it, don’t listen.” With her inspiring journey and the recognition of the I Am Hip-Hop Award in 2022, Trina continues to uplift and empower aspiring female artists.

Halloween is always an exciting time for celebrities to display their creativity, and this year was no exception.

Megan Thee Stallion transformed into Death the Kid, Halle Bailey paid homage to Whitney Houston and Janet Jackson,  while Saweetie channeled Kimora Lee Simmons and Edward Scissorhands. These incredible costumes showcased the A-game of these talented artists.

On the Billboard charts, newcomers Chrisean Rock, Alex Isley, and Scarlip have made their mark for the first time in their careers. These rising talents have secured their spots on various genre-specific lists, displaying their potential for future success.

SOHH family, make sure you support these ladies, and have a fun, safe weekend.
