This week we’re going back to school, collecting Pals, and being reborn—that’s a lot of stuff to do without some tips. Palworld, the breakout hit from developer PocketPair, got a handful of major bug fixes that will make your creature-collecting a lot easier. And Atlus’ recent Persona 3 Reload release means you’ll want to make sure you’re a Grade A student and a damn good friend—luckily we’re here to help you with all of that. The week also saw the surprise-debut of a Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth demo, and with progress carrying over to the main game, you’ll want to make sure you do everything you can with Sephiroth and company.

Those looking to up their catch rate in Palworld can now reliably seek out Lifmunk Effigies once more. Patch v0.1.4.1 includes a number of fixes for the smash hit survival/animal-catching game, including a bug that prevented catch rates from increasing. Persona 3 Reload, Atlus’ remake of the PlayStation 2 classic, is a 70+ hour-long RPG. Before you even set off to scale Mt. Nibel with Sephiroth in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth’s demo, there are a number of settings you should consider tweaking. A big part of Palworld is, of course, collecting the Pokémon-like Pals themselves, but sometimes, finding or catching a particular Pal can feel like a real chore. Should you happen to be tired of scouring the world to try and capture a specific Pal, the Black Marketeer might just have what you’re looking for. Mysterious merchants, these NPCs will sell you a variety of uncommon Pals, which is perfect when you just want to skip the hunt and get straight to owning a more powerful beast buddy. – Claire Jackson Read More
