Paris Saint-Germain are delighted to announce the extension of Presnel Kimpembe’s contract.
The 28-year-old central defender will remain at the Club until 30th June 2026.

After arriving at the club’s pre-academy centre in 2005, the native of Beaumont-sur-Oise (Val-d’Oise) worked his way through the Paris Saint-Germain youth system before signing his first professional contract in March 2015.
At the age of 28, the left-footed central defender has made 237 appearances in all competitions for his club and won 23 trophies: seven French Championships (2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023), six Coupes de France (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021), five League Cups (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020) and five Trophées des champions (2014, 2016, 2017, 2020, 2022).
Presnel Kimpembe also won his first cap for the French national team in March 2018, in a friendly match against Russia. He became the 11th player from the Paris academy to earn his first cap for the French senior team.
A few months later, he became a world champion with Les Bleus, playing notably the entire match against Denmark in the group stage. He added to his list of international honours with victory in the Nations League in 2021, playing the whole of the final against Spain.
The defender has been sidelined by an Achilles tendon injury and is due to undergo surgery in the next few days in order to return to competitive action as soon as possible.
