Ghanaians continue to slam Afua Asantewaa over her decision to hide the fact that Guinness World Records (GWR) had disqualified her December sing-a-thon attempt.
Sometime within the past few weeks, Guinness informed Afua Asantewaa that she was unsuccessful in her bid to break the record for the longest singing marathon.
However, despite coming to Ghanaians for support and making a lot of noise following the conclusion of her attempt, in this information Afua Asantewaa kept mute about it.
In fact, she paid $750 for a priority screening of her evidence which she once again told Ghanaians about.
However, once Guinness informed her about the failure of her application, Afua Asantewaa kept mute.
The information did not come out until GWR posted it in reply to enquiries by Ghanaians.
Reacting to her refusal, one netizen said the reason Afua Asantewaa kept mute was that she was enjoying the status her attempt gained her which included tons of ambassadorial deals and did not want to be exposed by her failure.
“Greed and selfish , I knew she lost it long ago and it’s all about her not losing deals,so after awhile she started disrespecting same Ghanaians who came out for her, saying they are broke and have no life to discuss about her with that her hand bag man.lol,” one netizen said.
The comment came after GhanaCelebrities.Com Founding Editor, Chris-Vincent tagged Asantewaa as dishonest.
