The much anticipated 2024 edition of the Telecel Ghana Music accolades (TGMA) came off yesterday at the Accra International Conference Centre. While most of the artistes won some awards, the BHIM Nation President, Stonebwoy emerged as the Artiste of the Year.
With six prizes, including Artiste of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Best International Collaboration, and Best Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year, Stonebwoy stood out among his colleagues.
Afropop Song of the Year, Afrobeat/Afropop Artiste of the Year, and Most Popular Song of the Year were the three honors that King Promise took home despite not winning Artiste of the Year.
During his acceptance speech, Stonebwoy thanked his late mother for still showering him with her blessings.
He thanked his wife for always being there for him and supporting him in all his endeavors.
The awards event was held at the Accra International Conference Centre’s Grand Arena on Saturday, June 1, 2024.
